I have only ever installed the 64-bit version and so pulled these files from the 64-bit version. If anyone ever volunteers to include the 32-bit files, I'll happily update post #1 to include the 32-bit files. Until such a time, this is only for 64-bit. Which post #1 has outlined.
I see. It's a shame that not everyone uses outdated hardware and has a need for 32 bit systems... I wanted to get Windows Photos back as it's way better than Windows Image Viewer imho. Thanks for replying and have a nice day.
someone on LTSB 2015 want to try? I can't post links but it would be ufile.io(slash)2usk7 via https I took the scripts from the 1st post, so most of the credit goes to the original authors.
I believe 1 person here has tested adding the store to 2015 edition and it worked just fine. -- Although I have only tested this on 2016 edition and Windows 8 too. I see no reason to doubt the results someone else reported (it should work on 2015, just as good).
thank you very much @abbodi1406 for making add store script and its working fine in 32 bit windows 10 enterprise ltsb 2016. GOD666 Plese add abbodi1406 script in your post for 32 bit and 64 bit windows. thank you
Can you please check your system logs? Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer Do you see either any cation notices, warnings, or errors?
There is a reason why I include more files than the alternative linked -- Mine has zero errors and previous builds had errors, but none of them ever were exactly related to the store... ie... You're not going to find a cation, warning, or error which reads "store" rather is will relate to some other service or event (cannot recall it at the moment).
Man, I need another machine to test stuff like this. I do love to tinker with operating systems. I don't need the store but seeing how it interacts with ltsb would be neat.
@GOD666 i've installed windows 10 enterprise 2016 LTSB 32 bit in virtual box. and there is no error or warning present after and while installing add store script by @abbodi1406 there were some error present related to activation and defender but they were before installing add store script. i've checked "Time" of installing add store and after that time no error and warning appeared.i have also restarted system and it was also fine. so i think it is safe to say that add store script caused no error or warning in event viewer. Thank you..
~~ UPDATE ~~ Store support for 32-bit now added - New version thanks to @abbodi1406 post #1 includes credit where credit is due.
Great script for adding the store, Sadly on our 2015 LTSB PC's at work I get this error :-( Any idea how I get round this missing Prerequisite ? :- ============================================================ Adding Store ============================================================ Add-AppxProvisionedPackage : A Prerequisite for an install could not be satisfied.
