kind of messed up thread. Just want to add my 2 cents.

- I already wrote and published a script where you can remove packages (only online) by a textfile which contains the important part of the package name.
It only tunes the registry in a way it's needed, nothing more. Somewhere in MDL.

- In the LiteOS video are some errors and unneded changes, but it's from 2016, so time and testing has gone further. ok.

- Any guide that recommends copying over files into WinSxS isn't good.

Is this a real SKU?

But still "Windows edition" I do not know how to fix and it is possible that some packages are unnecessary.

If the manifest file is missing then you should edit .mum and delete missing package.

 

Nobody mention ClientUA package here! Not even you...
