I have a Acer 5810TG there are 2 GPU : a Intel and a ATI but the Intel GPU is out of service so I would like to only activate the ATI one ... so I would like to have a new menu in my BIOS ... like in this thread : Sorry I can't post links because I haven't 20 posts ... to choose : Automatic, Intel only or ATI only ... You don't need a new menu in BIOS to activate the ATI card! You must choose DISCRETE on graphics adapter option. If you want, there is a BIOS MOD that will give you the INTEGRATED option. Send me a message if you want the LINKS (i cannot post them... strange forum :-\) But beware: I can see now why ACER did not release such an option: the 5810TG won't reboot properly if INTEGRATED is selected! (works fine though, as the SO recognizes only 1 card, and the other will presumably will stay turned off, not drawing any power).
