Hi, I just got a used Hanns.G 28" Monitor. I'm using 2 screens including a Dell 24". I can't find the driver for the new monitor. I can't go to full 1920x1200. Right now it's at 1680x1050. It worked fine on another PC. It automatically found the driver after an hour or two. I didn't have to do anything. I talked to the Hanns.G Monitor previous owner and asked if he had an Install Disc. He does not. I tried iObit Driver Booster 7 Free, but it couldn't find any drivers. So does anyone know where I can get a driver for Hanns.G HH281 on Windows 10? I tried their website. Or, an Install disc? I could pay. They don't have any on eBay. Please reply. Thanks
Display settings Advanced display settings Display adapter properties for display 1 List all modes if your mode is missing, you should check the graphic capabilities of your GPU / CPU hope it helps
Device Manager/Monitors If It doesn't list Hanns G HH281, but rather PNP Generic Monitor, then you need to select "Update Driver" I don't remember the exact wording Win10 uses but, you need to tell Win10 you have a driver and point it to the Vista64 inf file in your unzipped file you downloaded, and install that driver. After that you should see Hanns G HH281 listed in Device Manager as your monitor and be able to select up to "1900x1200" as you normally do.
what kind of video card are you using with this monitor? Name & model? I once had an issue with a Radeon video card and had to use the "over scan" feature within the Radeon software to get the right screen size
Try the HZ281 drivers on page 22 of the download center on Hanspree's website. I can't post links in here, too new.
Uh, no. Take the time to look at the inf file and you'll see it adds the max resolution and timings to the registry, allowing "1900x1200" to be added and selectable. My wife still uses the exact same monitor and that's the way it works.
