Harddrive dead?

    Hi,

    I'm having a big problem here...
    Today a start my computer and something happened to my external hardrive, lost the name and all files and directories are no longer available and they all have crazy names like "(¯ƒd╬ê.ôl".
    At last it turn iself from NTFS to FAT32...
    That's where i have my bacupks, so a lot of data in it, please don't tell me i 've lost everything, so what can i do to restore it to his previous state?

    No luck with recuva, but with GetDataBack for NTFS i've got everything back:bananajoj2:

    Just before you begin restoring, if you have space on other HDD, I would make a drive image of corrupted drive - just in case something goes wrong during restoration process...
