Hi EI_Heffe I'm not sure if this help you but before make backup of Registry :First open File Explorer and unpin all folders; open Regedit\HKCR\CLSID\{679f85cb-0220-4080-b29b-5540cc05aab6}\right click in ShellFolder\permissions\ Advanced\Owner in right side click change in sequence to Administrator and tick yes apply and ok after return to Permissions for ShellFolder search for Administrator tick Total Control apply and ok close window return to Regedit in same folder above in right side click two times in Attritutes to change value change of a100000 to a600000 click ok and finalizing type Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open TaskManager there search for Windows Explorer click on it and click restart so close Regedit open File Explorer and see if works
Yes. Anyways, with a snapshot well taken prior any attempt of tweaking, anyone can restore if anything goes wrong.
At bare minimum, if you are messing around in the registry, export the key you're messing with first.

I made a backup before I did the change. But, maybe I'll just leave it this way. Quick Access isn't all that useful anyway.
I'm more amazed how much here use a File Explorer concept that is completely broken by design and a complete DOA. I mean it still offers the poor feature set it was introduced with (plus some tweaks) and is even able to corrupt files during a copy process.
