Has anyone successfully modded a Dell Dimension E521 Bios?

    I've seen several other Dell Bios' modded but have yet to see this one. Can anyone out there shed a little light on this for us? I've searched thru the various forums but didn't find a thing.

    Yes i wouldnt mind this as well i have modded the dell e520 with the modded bios from the other thread and flashed ok, if someone has modded the e521 it would be good to see the file in this thread

    Maybe you should, perhaps, edit your bios link as it has been attached in the wrong way.

    Well I just put in a request to the above link regarding the Bios in a Dell Dimension E521. Hopefully someone will respond.

    Even though it says Phoenix I think it's an Award Bios so I posted the request under that thread.

    FuSchnickens: the link for the bios in your first post doesn't work.

    I too would like to see this bios modded as I have a E521. It's a bit of an oddball as it's one of the few Dell systems with an AMD processor, so that might mean the bios is a bit odd as well...

    going back to when I did update my Dell Dimension 521 up to slick 2.1, a few years back, I got all the info and new bios from this site. I cannot remember exactly what was done and what is required but it did work and allowed me to run Win 7 using the appropriate oem version of W7 I suggest a quick search on Dell Dimension 521 it will generate a host of information!!!
