    So i'm curious if anyone's replaced 7 with the new Developer Preview?? How's it going so far and would you recommend it? Any issues so far? Just note i don't plan on using the Metro UI so i'll be disabling it using the Registry Tweak so does it give anyone issues with anything non metro related???

    Though preliminary DP8 reviews praise the preview as very stable, I hardly would choose an Windows beta for performing my daily work :eek:

    Yeap :D I don't see why not :p Worst case scenario: I have to reinstall windows. Oh well :D

    No. Too many issues with my ATI Switchable graphics and the screen going blank/battery life being s**t.

    That's how i see it and i've been reading reviews all over the place and really the only issues most people are having with the OS is to do with Metro.. Plus i haven't done a clean re-install in quite some time now so i could just go with 8 to get more familiar with everything, not that much has changed with the desktop.

    So does anyone know when the Beta is supposed to be released?? I heard CES 2012 which wouldn't be till January :S

    If anyone is using windows for hard work or have important things and programs,I recomand Windows 7 SP 1 ...is a mature and reliable O.S....is grow up sice from 2009...etc....If other person want to play with P.C or to test then to use WDP...i believe is immature now for judge WDP since is not even in Beta stage....

    Well 8 is based on 7 with a bunch of new changes so i figure what the hell.

    We can rename Windows 8 to Windows Vista 3....altough there is a rumor that will be a new kernell,N.T.7.0....:D

    What it has replaced? The kernel or W7 as operating system?:confused:

    Yup definitely, removed 7 and kept only Windows 8 Dev Preview :) I love it! Ah and I don't have problems with it at all :D

    Replaced Windows 7 with WDP on my ASUS Eee PC 1015 PEM with no issues on metro style apps :worthy:
