Having trouble activating Windows 7 with OEM key.

    So I finally decided to install Windows 7 7600 but I've run into quite a few bumps in the road.

    The motherboard I am using is an Asus P6T Deluxe v2. Asus does not have a Bios out that is SLIC 2.1 so I used AMI Slic Tool 1.28 to edit the most recent bios off of Asus's website. I ran RW-Everything and the numbers were correct for an SLIC 2.1 bios, however, I am still unable to activate windows.

    Any help is appreciated.

    is it a fresh installation ? what key did you use?

    Did you install the license file first?

    What slic have you used to mod the bios?


    Tell me that and i tell you what to do.

    Could you tell me please if that is important?

    I modded my AMI bios (ASUS MB) with HP slic, imported certificate, changed key. But can't get Win7 activated.

    I'm having the same problem, only I'm using the daz loader and it's not activating. I wish you good luck, Tamer and hope you find a solution.
