HD Clone software

    My current drive is a 1TB WD Caviar Green and I'd like to swap it with the 1TB Caviar Black drive I just got. Is there a good program to clone the drive so I can just swap it out. This is the system drive I'm talking about and it has two partitions but I can lose the second partition if I need to. he system is Windows 7.

    Get the Western Digital edition of Acronis True Image, install it, create the bootable media and let it do its magic.

    Yup, Acronis has HDD Clone option for real 1:1 imaging solution.. , or theres some freeware appz for HDD Clone

    Paragon Drive Backup is free & easy to use, I've been using it for a while, it's gave me no problems.

    Check it out if you want ;)

    Yes, also as OldMX stated Western Digital has their own free version of Acronis Trueimage available for download Hitachi has one also.

    Thanks to you all. Acronis worked like a charm. Very noticeable speed difference too.
