hey guys, I installed the SLIC 2.1 BIOS update for my Acer Aspire One AOA150 netbook. It worked for about 1 week, and now i can't get the netbook to work. It seems to be stuck at the black screen of death. I can hear the fan going inside. I have tried the Bios Recovery method to no avail (about 20-30 attempts), tried with different flash drives even. Any ideas guys?
Wow... That must be unique to you! Never heard of a "BLACK screen of death" before! How does on even GET that!?
Could be a bad/corrupted bios flash. Or the bios themselves are just bad from who ever done the editing. Are you even able to get into safe mode or system repair?
unable to get anything other than power light flashing, black screen... it wont allow me to fix bios via FN-ESC-Power method..
Yeah I was going to suggest that. Ouch. Seems like the system might be hosed. Wait for the experts though and see if they can come up with something.
