I currently have 2 machines running Win7, the rest running Win8, Mac Mountain Lion and Ubuntu 12. I have two servers setup. One running WHS 1 and serving as main for backups and data storage. The 2nd is running WHS 2011 and serving as SQL Server and running VMware Workstation as Server for 3 VM's. I am having issues seeing all my machines in my network, but can access all of them. I have the hardware and the software, but unsure of the setup. Does it make sense to run Windows Server 2008 R2 and the other servers as secondary. How would I do that? Domain Controller? With a little help I can figure out the setup once I am sure its the correct way to go. Look forward to hearing everyone's ideas.
