I have a poweredge 1850 BIOS that was written before the new BIOS types were created. I tried using the Dell Client Config Utility to create a new one (I have the HDR file), but Phoenix tools says that I need to use the exe file instead of the hdr file. When I load the old exe into the tool it says it can't extract the HDR file. Am I out of luck or is there a way to mod the HDR file without the proper BIOS exe?

I've been researching this exact same issue all day. Any pointers would be appreciated!

Would be interested to know the solution, as I also have one of them...

Thanks, but extraction of .hdr is NOT a problem!
Problem is that the tool does NOT accept that hdr file, as it insist on feeding it an .exe, but while fed such .exe it chokes on it
