Help English Windows XP PRO Retail/Oem CD to VOL CD

    Can someone to please give me the files to make a Windows XP VOL cd from a Windows XP Pro Retail or Oem cd. Another option is to give me a download link to an English XP PRO VOL cd with the hashes matching the one's on Microsoft's Technet website. Thanks in advance.

    Why don't you just Google for the hashes yourself? You might find that's the easy part if you don't have a genuine VL key for it.

    I tried that before I created this thread on a virtual xp but my antivirus flaged it and windows said it changed core files that it could not verify the authenticity of the files I downloaded. I have genuine VL key that I took off my former high school's computer.

    Make sure you get the MSDN version and be sure to check the hashes of the iso as follows:-

    GRTMPVOL_EN

    File: en_windows_xp_professional_with_service_pack_3_x86
    CRC-32: ffffffff

    Thanks Bartley69 it worked perfectly in virtual pc so I burned it to a cd and going to install on my friends Macbook pro for one of his Christmas presents.
