Win10 has an annoying feature, from start menu, when your shift key is pressed, and click the "restart", win10 is actually entering a blue screen called "Choose an option" before the PC power is off.

how can I disable that feature? (disable reason: as you can see the TV is up to the ceiling)
the screenshot link is as below.

will double check tonight, with a win10 pc in hand.

this suggestion is useful. now i remember win10 allocate almost 500MB boot partition compared to Win7's 100MB.
maybe that "choose an Option" is hidden in that partition.

if so, you will be right, non-UEFI boot may help on this problem.

    but it is too late.
    1. Legacy boot option in latest mother board cannot prevent a UEFI boot now, if there is any valid UEFI device
    2. I must take UEFI out from the win10 MSDN iso, and then burn to my USB stick, before the system was installed. now it looks like too late, as os has been installed.

I was just thinking the same. Why press shift, and restart unless you want to go to the recovery options, which is very very useful, indeed!
