I created a DOS USB, put the BIOS file and flashspi application on it....

    type flashspi EX58UD5.F7

and got a "NOT able to read BIOS file Successfully" Message....am I screwed?

right now its sitting on the C:\ prompt.....I hope the DUAL bios is working

It sounds like flashspi was simply not able to read the EX58UD5.F7 file and quit without doing anything. Are you sure the file is really named EX58UD5.F7 and is located in the same directory as flashspi?

Indeed you were right....it quit before it did anything...bloody hell I got scared (thought I wrecked a brand new $380 MB hehe)

I put on EX58UD5.F8d and just ran that...it erased my BIOS....and wrote the new one successfully....I just booted back up its working :) it seems it just didnt like .F7 file...I definitely typed it correctly

Well V8d does not work correctly....everytime I exit the BIOS the computer just switches off and comes back on 2 seconds later...sometimes during boot up it does the same thing and just switches off randomly....

I'm going to flash with v8E or maybe try and put V7 on
