Help in installing

    So, i am updating my windows from Xp -> w7 professional, and it asks me for CD/DVD drive drivers. I have no idea how to get past that and continue installing. I tried searching internet, and found couple of 'solves' but none of them worked for me :/ I am installing this OS through USB.

    Are you using USB 3.0 ports ?

    Try connecting to USB 2.0 ports instead

    I am using usb2.0, as my computer does not have usb 3.0's. I have tried every slot also.

    Disconnecting my DVD drive seemed to help, thanks!

    Cool, see if there is a firmware update for it when you're up and running

    Maybe a motherboard BIOS update too
