Help me in installing windows7 !!!

    My computer is acer aspire T650 ( desktop ) and hard type is SATA
    When I want to install a copy of windows7 the hard does not appear to me or any part of hard !!
    so PLzzzz What is the solution??? :confused:

    Do a Google search for M5287, M5288, and M5289 (all aLi SATA sys drivers), put them all on a USB stick= one of them works for the T650 and Win7 but I don't remember which.
    At the appropriate time during setup tell Win7 to load additional drivers and have it search the USB stick.

    Do you have AHCI enabled in the bios? Try to turn it off and see if it works after that.

    I do not know what ACHI is and where I find it ?

    I did what U say and Choose M5287
    its 100% working
    thaankx :):)

    What about SLIC do I need it for windows7 ??

    Good--glad you got it working!
    As I now recall, the 5287 was for 32 bit, and the 5288 was for 64 bit. The 5289 was just a spare that maybe did not work at all. Keep that file around somewhere in case you ever need to clean install in the future.
