    Dear members,

I am new to this method of activation Windows Vista. I'm going to buy a Asus P5E3 Deluxe. I saw a modified bios here on this forum, and someone said it was a working one, so i want to flash it with that bios.

After that I want to install Vista, but how am I supposed to do it? Do I need any special Windows Vista version? A OEM installation dvd? Or can I install it with the normal one and activate it?

Could someone help me with the info needed and files maybe?

    Thanks alot!

    -same certificate and key
    -flash is better IMO

I'm also a noob with this method :D
I think the certificate is the same for both 32 and 64
and the best method is probably flashing the bios with a Slic modded bios.
maybe someone else could confirm that ...

edit : thanks nijel for your answer ;)

Hmm, I rather have Vista Home Premium.
At installation of Vista, should I enter no cd-key and let it install and use the method as given to me by you from that topic, by entering the key after the CMD to install the oem certs?

    yes that's right.
install vista without entering cd key, and use CMD after installation
