Hi, I followed the instructions in this thread to get a good copy of windows loader 2.2.2 to reactivate my win 7 ultimate. I get a good copy but after installing I get an error and then get "Unsupported partition table". From the readme this is probably for "You're either using GPT on a UEFI motherboard or you've got a locked OEM partition.", in fact I seem to remember I activated this copy with an OEM activator. The suggestion is to format the hard disk, but it's really not possible at the time. Is there an alternative solution? I ask here because searching the forum I found solutions for UEFI but it shouldn't be my case. Is there a way to reactivate this copy like I originally did (many years ago)?
Thank you, I already tryed the EzWindSLIC solution, it said it installed fine but I'm still not activated. It seems my only options left are flash my BIOS or downgrade to professional, unless there are other alternatives
@garravich What's the exact model number of the motherboard/laptop on which you are trying to activate Windows 7?
I also installed the windows 7 ultimate 64 bit build 7601 by formatting the whole computer and turned off the setting of automatically update the windows in update setting, it automatically showed today that windows is not genuine i tried it to correct with Watremover ,but still it is showing that windows 7 is not genuine see the pic. in right corner of the desktop button.
@RED RUM WAT must not be removed, otherwise you have no hope of activating it normally. How did you activate or at least how You tried to activate?
Almost every reply here tells people NOT to use the fake activator or was it for testing purpose. I also don't have a clue why this thread is not closed by now @Yen .
The unsupported partition table is because you probably installed it in UEFI/GPT mode, the loader can't activate on UEFI/GPT when there is no real slic table inside the bios. Check this thread for options: [GUIDE] Activate Windows 7 on PCs with UEFI
thankyou very much for guiding me now my windows is activated, I am attaching the picture of the activated windows
1.I want to ask one thing that I have only one bootable pendrive which is in the format fat 32 and all my drives are in the format NTFS see in the attached pictures. I want to know whether i will be able to boot and install the fresh windows 7 64 bit the next time it crashes since i have the licenced NP net protector antivirus which has OS protection and data safety too but it failed to stop the ransomware attack the next time i install the exe file from the unknown sources.or any other reason. 2. How to increase the windows experience index scale rating from 4.5 to the value greater than 5.9? since my hardisk has the base rating of 5.9 any way to increase or i should try SSD's etc, Thankyou
rating 4.5 is normal given your system is with 4GB RAM only. disk performance 5.9 is ceiling if NOT SSD. When you change to SSD, can see 6.0 or higher. CPU RAM Graphics, , , have impacts on your system rating. At final, frankly, the windows experience index is useless. Common users, gamers, , , none cares or takes the windows experience index.
There are also general limits for the figures: Windows Vista: can be a max of 5.9 Windows 7: maximum is 7.9 Windows 8 and higher: max. 9.9 (D3D isn't tested under Win10+ and always 9.9) The total WEI is determined by taking the lowest of the values.
