Help! OEM Activation on top of installed TRIAL Win 7 Ultimae on SLIC 2.1 machine?

So this is the scenario. A friend of mine has Dell M1330.

There was a hard drive sector corruption and the hardware shop that worked on it
    - Backed up the data,
    - Installed a new hard drive
    - Installed TRIAL Window 7 Ultimate (as per the Hardware shop guy.. not confident about him)
    - Installed Office etc
    - Migrated her DATA to the new HDD .. C & D Drives

Now this trial would expire in 30 days.

I was thinking of doing the following:

    - Updating the BIOS to SLIC 2.1 (Available on forums)

    THEN
    - Use the OPAtool etc to change the Certificates & Keys and ACTIVATE the machine.
    - Is there some way to make the existing Win 7 become OEM?

I am wondering if this would work on the TRIAL or not? It doesn't say trial version or anything? Not sure if he installed a retail or other version?

If yes, great. If not, what is the EASIEST way around without Re-Installing everything.

    CAN I THEN..
Maybe install OEM version on top of existing Win 7 and activate it using OPATool.

Then get the Hardware shop to do the stuff again.

Thoughts, ideas to minimize effort & time.

I just installed a SLIC 2.1 BIOS from this forum.

The MGADiag shows - OEM SLP etc but maybe i need to use the OPATool to finalize it?

My question was, can any installed Win 7 (e.g. TRIAL) here be converted/ patched to OEM, after install?

So, SLIC 2.1 BIOS can be made to work for any installed Win 7?

If you have slic 2.1 in bios then use daz loader it will install key and certificate but it will not install the loader because slic is present.

Ok. Great. Well. I ran it and it failed. "The certificate wasn't successfully installed. "
