Ok so I was fixing two laptops and I accidentally Recovered in the wrong direction. meaning i meant to clone computer A to computer B but instead did B to A's hard drive. I used Acronis True Image to copy and image over an old partition is there any hope of getting it back? The kicker is I was at work when I did that. Any suggestion of programs to get the erased partition back? Currently Acronis is scanning for lost partitions I am wondering if there are betting programs for this.
In that case very unlikely, as you would have overwritten lots if not all of the data. And honestly a single overwrite renders data unrecoverable. If you just deleted partition then restore of data would be no problem. But now do not expect anything sebus
Thanks very much for the information. I found out the hard way it was gone permanently, lucky for me there was not any data on that pc as the program it was used for sent the data over the network to a main pc.
