    Hi,
I updated my laptop bios yesterday(lenovo z580). The flash went well however I lost my Office 2013 activation in the process. I have the activation saved in a backup using both "advance token manager" and "opabackup"
I used one of those back ups when I installed an ssd and it worked fine. But today advance token manager is not working. It's telling me "the stored backup doesn't match with your product edition"
So what I'm thinking of doing is remove the windows 8 product key I current have on my machine and restore the back up I have using advance token manager.
    Is that possible?

    Thanks

    Uninstall the Windows Activation key
    Command Prompt (admin)
    Code:
    slmgr /upk

    Delete product key in registry:
    Code:
    slmgr.vbs /cpky

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    Thanks november
I was able to uninstall the activation key with the cmds you provided.
Too bad I still wasn't able to restore the office 2013 key. Guess I'll just use an activator. No biggie.
