You cannot flash VAIO SVE15/SVE17from 12 series that way ( SVE1511 and 1711 are ok ) I mean without opening and pinmod some particular chip.

BUT you can dump BIOS region with Intel FPT at least, mod it and flash the modded dump with recovery method.

If not done, flash the bios with original EP0000295577.exe ( there is a new version R170D6 version )

Then, use Flash Programming Tool from intel (FPT) google this: "ME (1.5M_8.1.10.1286)" and download it.
Go to "ME (1.5M_8.1.10.1286)\Tools\System Tools\Flash Programming Tool\Windows64" and execute in administrative privilege the command
    Code:
    fpt -bios -d R0170D6_dump.bin
Mean " dump bios region in R0160D6_dump.bin file "
Open that file (6656kb) with phoenix tool and mod it
To allow flashing, note the recovery Name displayed by phoenix tool ( Z40X64.f?)

1/Rename the modded 6656 kb resulting bios in Z40X64.fd
2/ *Format* a usb stick and put only that file in
    3/ Off the laptop
3/ let the battery remove ac cord
4/ press FN+ESC key and plug AC
5/ Keep pressed that 2 keys for 2 second while laptop powering
    6/ release keys
7/ wait 65 sec, it will reboot automatically

Keep an original unmodded R0170D6_dump.bin on another spare formated key renamed also in Z40X64.fd in case ...

For advanced menu, you don't need the slic mod, just open with phoenix tool the dumped R0170D6_dump.bin (6656 kb) and press structure button.
Expand completely the first file volume and search for "setup utility" ( nearly the 100th line )

1/ Highlight it and clic "replace" button
2/ Unrar and select the attached View attachment FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670.rar

3/ Close and flash with recovery method the obtained file
    ( don't forget to rename it in Z40X64.fd )

4/ please use a formatted fat 32 usb stick with that renamed file only as I curiously get twice brick with non empty stick ...

    You should be done .
