My daughters advent laptop is stuck on this screen. She switched the laptop off last night, she got tyhe option of switching off and installing updates, but when it rebooted, its now stuck on this screen. I have tried a couple of options including removing the battery and pressing F8 once I have reinserted the battery and powered up. Its still stuck on this screen. Any help with this woould be very much appreciated. I do nnot have the back up . Any help and advice which would help me to fix tgis issue would be very much appreciated
Let the machine run, maybe even for several hours. Sometimes that needs a long time for to be complete! If nothing helps and you've an bootable Install Media (DVD and/or USB Flash Drive) with your version of Windows, boot from it using the BIOS Boot Manager and chose Repair and try that, maybe just to use an older Restore Point is good enough!
