HELP: Stuck when installing Vista OEM UM 25in1

    I updated the BIOS with ASUS P5K-E 0503 SLIC ROM months ago. But today when I tried to install the Vista OEM UM 25in1 (burnt to a DVD, install to NTFS logical drive D), the installation was stuck at the step of "extracting... 0%", right after the step it said windows files have been copied.

    Has here anyone tried with this version of Vista? No problem? Thanks!

    I forgot to mention that I'm using a desktop. But the ROM displayed in ACPIScope is "Notebook".

    The problem may be caused by my DVD-RW drive in data reading. A blue screen appeared while I was burning a DVD-R. Strange thing is that all my CDRs are OK while 2 Vista setup DVDs have problem. Frustrated. Will try later.

    try to rewrite the dvd with speed as low as possible : maybe that can help
