Hi, I have a BIOS update file, the Award BIOS flash utilty named FLASHSPI.EXE and an autoexec.bat file containing a single command line. How do I go about flashing the BIOS, do I need to have all of the files in the same folder on the root of the C drive or do they need to be on C: itself and do I simply type in the command C:\autoexec.bat or C:\foldername\autoexec.bat then press enter? Can I boot the PC using a boot CD and navigate to the root of C or can I use a command prompt window from within windows 7 itself? Any help most appreciated as I am a bit wobbly about frying the BIOS if I do it wrongly. Thx
