    Hello,

I've been using W7 Home Premium SP1 as my main OS for many years, and while I hate to see it go, the fact of the matter is that I need to make some upgrades to my PC (new Ryzen chipset, more RAM) that the OS simply cannot support. So, I've been trying to find a concise guide on how to go through the process of upgrading from a legit copy of W7 HP to some (torrented) flavor of W10 with greater control over ads/telemetry, to no avail. I'm sure this kind of question has been asked plenty of times, but I want to make sure I get it right.

What a problem You really have. It's here just some weird light-pink dreams.
Tell specifically what problem are you having?
You shouted "Help", but what help You need?

For when you want to really upgrade on the existing hardware:
    1. Upgrade from 7 HP to 10 Home* (by ISO, Update Assistant or MCT), online upgrade from Home to Education or Enterprise by key.
    2. On MDL there will be no homebrew iso's offered, just use an original MSFT ISO (or create your own modified installer).

    * When your legit 7 HP is activated by SLIC (oem system) or by DAZ Windows Loader, you can first anytime upgrade to 7 Ultimate and next upgrade to 10 Pro and next license switch to edu or enterprise.

On new hardware, just install the desired windows 10 edition.
