hey all, i'm new to the forum and i have no idea about any of the things talked about here lol. But i'm about to partition my mac and i need a windows 8.1 iso file so i can run windows on my mac. i have no idea what to download, and does it need to be activated?
Are you running the latest versión of Mavericks on your Mac? If the answer is no, you need it. If yes: Code: http: // softicle . com/en_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_4065090.iso After installed, you can actívate Windows with KMSPico or Microsoft Toolkit
what's the difference with activating it with KMSPico or Microsoft Toolkit? and is that already 8.1 or do i upgrade once installed
No difference, just choose one or the other. It's already 8.1 with April's update. I almost forgot! You'll need an installation key. Use this one: EDIT: Sorry guys, I thought that generic keys were allowed, it won't happen again.
You're not supposed to post keys on the forum - even generic ones. Edit: @Carlos - Apologies, posted over you.
so how i do this? is that the key i enter when prompted during installation? and then once installed i active the windows using KMS or Toolkit?
i saw all the keys in Murphy's post, does it matter which one is used? or should i just go ahead and use what joluboga provided, and thats the latest or correct iso i should be using right? just wanting to make sure i have everything
At least the key must match the edition you wanna install, i.e. Professional (key is for this one). So far the latest ISOs available.
