Now is there any way to avoid having to hit the Enter key to finish booting into Windows? Reason i ask is because it's telling me "Remove any media devices and hit the enter key to reboot BUT it continues to boot into windows as normal after the enter key is hit. Figured i would try AHCI since it's supported :p

Check boot sequence in bios. Otherwise, try doing a startup repair.

The IDE and AHCI problem with Windows Vista, Windows 7 etc. is really an oversight of the driver loading principle by Microsoft. Its one driver that should be loaded by default regardless, rather than having it disabled if IDE mode is detected when initially installed. Having it loaded and in IDE mode has no disadvantages and will take basically no RAM, since its not used it would be paged.
