Help with my Bios password on my Dell Latitude D420

    I loaned my laptop to my Brother In Law recently and he played around with the bios settings and forgot the bios password.
    Could anyone please help me in resetting the password.
    The model is a Dell Latitude D420
    The service tag is : DM85V2J

    I hate laptops...but isnt their a way to reset it like a desktop and remove the bios battery for 30 seconds and then replace it? i know that works on desktops idk bout laptops...
