Help: I'm clueless now. Recently I posted about computer freeze at cmos or post and I can't get to bios setup but if i press restart button, it boot normally. Basically the first power up, it stuck at cmos and had to press restart button to work. Now, yesterday, when i turn on my computer, there's no signal sending to the monitor. I do not have a case speak so i can't hear the beep. Motherboard light do led up, cpu fan spin normally and so does hard drive. Below are the lists I done:

    1. I also did, unplug power cord then press & hold power for like 30 sec or more. still no signal to monitor

    2. unplug power cord from rear pc, remove power cable from motherboard, then reset cmos and remove motherboard battery, let it stand for a few minute then plug everything back on. still no signal to monitor

    3. This time i remove everything, memory, dvd, hard drive, video card, and cpu. Then i only re-seat cpu, and add only one ddr2 ram (2Gb) and connect to onboard video. Still no signal to monitor

    4. This time i connected pci video card and not use onboard video. Still no signal to monitor

    MB: Intel DG45ID, Core2 Quad Q6600 @2.40Ghz, 8Gb DDR2 PC-6400
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64
    PSU: 650w

    Please help.

Can you F8 into safe mode?

Complete a list of all things you tried

Also provide other links to previous problems with board

I can't get to anywhere since no signal send to the monitor. As I stated, the monitor is working if i connected to a different computer and when connected to this computer. no signal. Everything seem to run okay, cpu fan spin normal, hard drive spin normal, mb light led but just no signal to monitor. When this computer was working. i can hear short beep sound when i turn on. Now nothing.

I did not get any beep code when removing all memory. so i guess i need to find another MB that use DDR2 and Core2. Hate to invest in other board since i have a 8Gb DDR2. Not sure who would want to buy and if list in ebay, man, the fee is killing. lol

what about cpu? would it be bad too?
