Hexing WinXp files to work on Win98SE

    I need a file looked at from WinXP SP2 to fix a problem its causing on Win98SE?
    I need a very good hex editor. Thanks

    A file from winxp sp2 should not even be on Win98SE OS anyway you can find link to HxD hexeditor in BEST-One-STOP-Free-Windows-Software-2012 under section 17) Programming

    This is why I didn't want to start a topic. I don't want or need lectures about me still using Win98SE or files from WinXP etc...... I'm not with the hype, if M$ says update you update. Some files from newer OS works. If you didn't have a closed mind you would know that.

    Fair enough I was going to point you to MSFN but I think you may already be on there are you the developer of the U98SESP3 :eek:

    OK so you ain't the developer of U98SESP3 i,e, PROBLEMCHYLD either way you wont get much help on MSFN as regarding to hex editing or patching M$ files that is a no win situation over there. :(
