Long time lurker, turn noob member. Have been dabbling in with computers for a very long time; even ran my own small-time repair business/ small-business network/IT/consultant...(and anything else I could get someone to pay me to do to their computers/network) Have had no formal computer training since I was in HS (in the late 90s). Worked in sales, aviation dispatch, business management, and any odd job available. I just moved to Raleigh NC and might be going to Wake Tech (right now the plan is Software Development) in the Spring. Being a techy place I am sure there are others in the area. I know absolutely no one here (aside from a few family members who live in the area), so if you feel inclined to introduce me to someone wanting to hire a guy with a little bit of knowledge and no credentials give me a shout. My current fleet of working computers are: Lenovo E420 1141a24, Lenovo T43 2987d8u, Lenovo Z60t 2511f4u, & an Amahi server box (currently Fedora 14, HW specs available upon request) Really great forum btw, So thats me.
