I joined the forum because I'm working on a project that all but requires Windows 7. I dug out an old retail copy I have but ran into several issues during and after installing it. When trying to troubleshoot them, I invariably ended up back here. MDL really is one of, if not the best resources for vintage Windows enthusiasts, and those of us who need it in order to accomplish something that no longer works on newer OS's... I'm still not sure how to pluralise that! I also joined because I'm also interested in messing around with other older operating systems and software. It's why I joined WinWorldPC a while back... after all, Microsoft doesn't seam to care about keeping it's history alive, and enabling the enthusiasts who care so much about the software that they developed, to actually use it's old products. But it's places like MDL, and WWPC, that are keeping history alive.
