Hidden Drives

    Because it's the new way of Windows handling them.
    They will stay like that until you insert an SD card and windows detects it.

    Insert card

    Insert card in some of the slots and drive will be show, but if you want to be always show, then set in Folder Options.

    It's the new default option

    From explorer: [alt] Tools, Folder Options, View, "Hide empty drives in the Computer folder" - the default is checked.

    I thought that because they all became active when the media is inserted, Is there a way to make the visable permantily.

    One more thing i need help with and rather starting a new thread ill hijack this one lol

    How do i register a file ext with windows?
    I want to register .divx so i can change the icon for this file type, the video already plays but has no icon

    Just an update, found an easier way to update the ICON for all video files from a single location.

    Code:
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\video\DefaultIcon]
    This setting over-rides all others when the "PerceivedType" is set to Video (which appears to be the default)
