I get that they feel the need to put new stuff in... but this just annoys the crap right outta me. I'm opening programs, and no freakin icon is appearing in my task bar. Please oh please tell me there's a way to eliminate this latest annoyance.... Tanks...
I haven't seen that or read about it, so I think it's a bug not a feature. Is it a certain program or programs only?
Hehehe... with ms it can be hard to tell if it's a bug or a feature.. No, it seems that after I have a certain number of programs open at once, instead of the icons shrinking they seem to disappear off to the side, seems like under the notification area....
Sounds like a bug to me. If ever there is a KB article describing this, it will include the famous text "this behavior is by design"
I have found the problem, and it was self inflicted. I used a small program found here to hide the search and task views. I confirmed this this morning, and I can replicate it. So, now I know. Thanks
