Hello all, This is my first thread on the forums and i´m beginning with a question. The case is that a work with as Tech Support in Brazil and there´s this customer who have a call center with 1200 machines with ECS Q35T-AM (yup, that old) and they been having some security issues as some employees have learned how to boot Live OS from USB flash drives. They asked me to check if there´s any way to prevent the machines to boot from USB, but they prefer not having to set password on BIOS. After some research i found that AMIBCP could be used to Disable and Hide the Removable Drives options from the BIOS, but so far i still have no idea how to also disable/hide the F12 - BBS PopUp Menu. Since i´m still a noob on BIOS Modding, i wonder if such change is even possible. Just to make it clear, i did contact ECS and the local manufacturer and both said they would not be able to help, because this MB is too old, but they have authorized me to use the tools to change the BIOS. I have the BIN and ROM files for this BIOS and the flashing tools provided by ECS Can anyone give some light on this?
