IQ Test Found this test, apparently I qualify to pay them $79 to join there little society, no thanks I already know I'm smart. The test was fun, focus was mainly on spatial reasoning / pattern recognition, but there was some memory stuff too, good luck. They give you 90 seconds per question, one nice thing is that the test is partially based on how long it takes you to answer. Meaning, you get more credit if you are a quick thinker. To post your scores, please snap a jpeg and use external image host or it didn't happen. This is my score on the eCMA test, I'll take the TA3 at a later date. I know some detractors will say, "can't you just google for answers". Well technically, yes you could, that is the limitation of all online tests, but like I mentioned, most of the test is based on pattern/spatial recognition (google can't help with these) and the rest is contingent on how fast you answer. Post your scores if you dare. I'm interested in seeing someone post a 160 or better. EDIT: If you didn't take the test do not post. This is not a discussion on the validity of IQ tests, please keep those comments to yourself. And yes you are an idiot if you pay to join.
Did it ever occur to you that it's a scam to get you to pay cash for something ? There are a lot of substandard IQ tests with exclusive membership. IQ tests are rubbish anyway, if you fail everything else and just pass the maths questions does this make you stupid ?
This is not a debate thread, start one if you like, but do it elsewhere. Please post your score or GTFO.
I got a 129. Too bad it's not in my native language, cause there were a few questions I didn't understand (like the one asking about an angle between 90 and 180 degrees. I don't know the name in english). Can't put the result here either, cause apparently the attachment manager doesn't work. EDIT : ok my bad, just read about the workaround.
I didn't take this particular test but I have taken a few different versions over the years and always score between 141 and 143.
@ Hazar A little Electro-Shock therapy will clear that up. lulz, A "moron" in the 1800's medical sense, would likely be in the 51-70 range. Anything near 100 is perfectly normal. (as opposed to special needs). So moron is not the correct term, I think yobbo or chav would be a more fitting description. If you don't already own a burberry coat, go buy one. @Genuine, what an obtuse question that is. @Everyone http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/qualify I think one misconception people have is that the quotient quantifies or measures intelligence, which it cannot. At best it can only hope to qualify it. This is an important distinction that is lost on most people, basically the test can only determine your rank against all other test takers. It can't measure how intelligent someone actually is or their possible potential, that would be impossible to quantify. EDIT: please note IQ is graded on a curve and we all know how skewed they can be, 70% of all scores will fall between 85-115, and furthermore 95% should fall between 70-130. A 100 in this case probably would relate to getting a C in a school setting. 130-145 is a B. Anything Higher is an A. Damned Stephen Hawking blew the curve for the rest of us, lets kick his ass after school.
lol, just to show my english is not perfect at all, I actually had to look up the word obtuse, to finally notice you answered the question I mean
