How 2 Install XP Over VistA.......

    Hello Mates,
    I have Toshiba Satellite L40 Laptop with Windows Vista Pre-installed on it. I want 2 change the OS 2 Windows XP. But Whenever I Tried 2 installed XP it gives error message that no Hard Disk Drive is detected. Can Any one help me 2 resolved this problem.

    Integrate satadrivers to your xpcd

    But why the hell do you want xp when you can have 7?

    You have to integrate 'mass storage' driverpack from driverpacks.net site..or else just disable 'AHCI' mode in your bios..and then you will be able to install xp..But before installing xp make sure you have downloaded all the xp drivers from toshiba website..or else search them on net..Manufacturers now a days don't provide xp drivers..so FIRST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE XP DRIVERS

    You dont need the entire driverpack..just the SATA drivers for the chipset is fine.
