How can I Activate Build 6956 without TimerNuke

    I am looking to Activate Build 6956 properly without using TimerNuke.

    To be able to use Windows Update.
    To prevent 'This Copy of Windows is Not Genuine'
    To show Activation dialogue in Computer properties.

    I used orbit30's option and all went well, until i went to control panel and got interupted by Windows. Got to be honest for the time im going to be using it (untill i can get round to downloading beta 1), its not that much of a problem. :rolleyes:

    Other than using the pre-activated copy that is floating around, there is no way at present.

    Just curious..are the days of SLIC Bios mod's over? or are we just waiting for the OEM keys? Has win 7 disabled this workaround?
