not long ago i discoverd that i can't download from microsoft downloads without downloading this update so i downloaded it and used latest removeWAT so he doesn't bother me but i still can't download from microsoft downloads so what can i do about it? thanks in advance.
U can try the following if u want to go with RemoveWAT * Open RemoveWAT and "Restore WAT" * Re-Arm ur Windows 7 in case u are not in the initial grace period * Reinstall kb971033 * Validate at microsoft.com/genuine * Use RemoveWAT again If this does not help use a loader
Well i tried that and it didn't worked either i still can't download xp mode from microsoft downloads.
what i'm saying is that i tried to validate and it didn't worked and my windows installtion in very new so i don't think that i did something that might cause problems to the loader or removeWAT officially i still have seven day to the 30 day grace period which of course the loader took care of that but not the validation process on microsoft downloads and i don't want to manualy try to install KB971033 as suggested there.

HOW did it "not work"? Did the system report as non-genuine? Did it give you an error code? I believe RemoveWAT will set deny permissions to the WATu files. This may be causing problems if it didn't get properly undone.
If you did an online Genuine test recently, check your installed updates... you may be (not so pleasently) surprised.
I don't have a clue how to solve your problem, other than do a clean install and don't ever install KB971033. Then go to microsoft.com and try to download a protected file. You should get the same prompts I get, to install the browser plugin, and use GenuineCheck.exe. I can't be the only one passing validation without installing KB971033.
