You need to use a third party software like ClassicShell or StartIsBack.

There is no start menu any more, if you want it back, you need to install a 3rd party one, the full tiles Start Screen is the start menu replacement, but surely you knew that before installing the OS right ?

    StartIsBack is my favourite

    yes which is extremely stupid

you remove a feature that people are willing to pay money to even third parties

    does it make sense ?

    Stay with 7 then? lol

MS are trying to move to a touch only OS, which is why they did it, but easily fixed

it's only $2 USD for a license that is unlimited bro. you can activate it as many times as u want on the same pc with no limits such as the limits Start8 by Stardock where they blacklist your key after a few activations.

Also, StartIsBack is the closes thing you can get to Widnows 7, and is VERY VERY easy to configure your folder libraries that appear on the strat menu and such

try the demo which is for 30 days without any nags to activate and if you decide its worth $2 USd you can buy it

You can trust it, I and many others have been using it since Windows 8, we wouldn't recommend it if it was malware, the dev is well known too

I do online banking as well

I use classic shell AND startisback[plus]

SIB+ is more refined and has some additional features (like renaming the square programs as apps) but classic shell works also on secondary monitor, a feature missed by most of the competitors.

So I made two custom png with the button image splitted, so I can use both the programs on primary monitor depending on the side of the button pressed, on secondary monitor either side of the button opens classic shell
I can,t post the image yet to explain better

Startisback+ is best, but if you don't want to pay Classicshell works ok and is free.
