I'm using windows 10 but i didn't update 10586. There is a window in middle of the screen and it writes "You have Windows 10 updates available". I don't want to see it. But i see it everyday, how can i disable it?
Try this: 1. Run Command Prompt (Admin) 2. Run the command to disable Windows Update Code: sc config wuauserv start=disabled 3. Restart PC For detailed info on sc command, please run sc /?
I don't want to update it because there will be some problems, clean install is the best. But i don't have time to format my pc and install my softwares, games again so i didn't update it.
Just go to services, disable windows update. I have deferred upgrades in RTM, but still get screen nags for windows defender. Disabling in services is better. Just enable when you want new updates or update store apps or also when MS decides on a random day that your copy is not activated. Then open services, and select manual, start.
Download ISO update, burn to disk, with windows running, insert disk, install now, UPGRADE not Fresh install, it keeps all your programs.
