Guys I have an HP dv9700 (dv9851eg) which I try to update bios and then not lights. Now I order an MiniPro programmer but I cannot understand how flash the bios chip. I read the bios chip with the code in the program but I cannot understand which file must download in the chip. The file that this program support is .mpj . Does anyone knows about this?
i believe there is 2 different BIOS.WPH depending on video card model of nvidia. 8400M_GS = 30CFF34B.WPH GF_7150M_nForce_630M = 30CFF34A.WPH bios is 1Mb but i think its 2 Mb when u read the original ? ( have to merge original missing data of pc backup.bin to the new bios with hex editor..compare files in a hex editor like HxD) tried CRISDISK Hp recovery method ?
