How can I keep Windows 7 BETA 1 activated past the evaluation expiry date

    How can I keep Windows 7 BETA 1 activated past the evaluation expiry date?

    I there really any point when new builds will be out before it expires?

    win7 is right by that time you could have much better builds, best wait for the real public release (none beta's) then think about activating that perminently :)

    The only reason i could think is if you wanted to sell a freind your pc/laptop with win7 beta on, cause it would be rude selling a machine with an expiring OS lol.

    If you really wont it use timernuke and you can use it for life ;)

    I'm assuming they are looking at or around a Mid to late july RTM, but we will see when the pre-rc builds are made available if the OS Expiration date expires. I assume though since these builds are expiring in July/August they plan on being very close to finished by that point. By the end of Q1 '09 we should see the first real RC.

    That is the info. I needed, many thanks. I am happy with Builds 6956 and 7000 just as they are for the time being, until the FINAL RELEASE.
