Did you have a product key for this version that you actually used to activate this version of win 7?
No, I have no product key. but when I install this edition it's no promp to enter a product key and when I try to activate it's no screen to enter pruduct key like other edition. If it's no way to activate right now I want to know the way how to use this edition for 30 days and rearm before it's expire.
Ok, Download this software from rapidshare It will allow you to rearm windows. It will let you use 30 free days again. Lots of users use this so don't worry about anything. Where can I get a download link to the enterprise version that you are currently using plz? thx
Hi well this is my first post here.. but I wanted to respond specifically to this thread. Yeah that's a good point about the PID missing from the ISO it explains why it doesn't activate. We downloaded the same image for the Enterpise x64 version and got the same error. There might be a tempory work around for this though, its not a permanent solution. By using the Windows 7 Toolkit 1.7 we managed to get the thing to activate with it. Of course I suspect the serial is actually invalid because its probably made up from an old RC key - which will eventually likely get blocked with WPA. But it could be worth a try though. By the way I intend to buy windows 7 when it is released, I am just kicking around for the fun of it to see how Windows 7 is in a kind of test period. To test the final RTM code if it is the case.
Enterprise can only be activated with a VL MAK or KMS key if it is not activated against a local KMS server. It's not that the default PID was not installed it is the fact that Enterprise requires a VL KMS/MAK out of the box or activation against a local KMS server. It can be rearmed up to 3 times like other versions as well.
Tell that to my copy of this Enterprise edition - because it IS activated dude. Using the method I mentioned.
Volume license versions by default are looking for a KMS server on the local network. Doubtful that it will find one yet.
ya u used the "activation kit" which now, you turned your build into a "frankenbuild" im trying some stuff to make it work CORRECTLY right now, if i find a SOLUTION, ill post it here.
