Hello friends. I really like the Windows Aero theme. At one time I used Aero theme on my Windows 7 computer, but after upgrading to Windows 10 Operating System, I can't get it back. Is it possible to bring it back in any way? If anyone can tell me any way to solve this problem, I would be very helpful.
Couple options you can look at include Aero Glass (glass8.eu) and use a themeatlas file from Windows 7, or Stardock's Curtains has a few Aero knockoff themes too. There's always WindowBlinds too but I've always had compatibility issues with some things and never kept it on my system for long. I have one Windows 8.1 laptop running Aero Glass, standard Win 8 theme but with white captions and the frames are proper glass effect, works pretty well and takes very little memory, like 200K for the Aero host application. There is a build available for Windows 10, do a mix of Aero and Acrylic.
