I used that oem key etc. used windows update like 20 times since the announcement and still no black list.
I agree. In a little over a couple of months, this key will be irrelevant, smothered by the flood of new keys. So what will two months buy for Microsoft should they blacklist it today?
If you really wanna be blacklisted go try and DDoS a M$ site Edit: I just updated, had 1 update... A Driver
Just as Microsoft has done for a while now (with WinXP corp. leaked keys most notable), they will most likely "blacklist" the Lenovo SLP key in question with the release of SP1 for Windows 7... So don't get impatient people, still plenty of time for a new SLP key to become available by the end of October. The sky is not going to start falling down and break your windows.
ahh well. The FACT that Lenovo has stated that the key will be disabled - indicated to me it will be blacklisted. It hasn't happened yet because no Windows update's have been issued. You wont be able to receive any updates one day with that key. Until you install a new one.
