I'm asking this because I'm in the process of downloading windows 8 enterprise evaluation and I don't know how to activate it. I've heard that you have to enter a key before installing windows 8. I downloaded it off the official microsoft website. Will microsoft catch me?
If it is the Eval edition, all you need is connect to web and nothing else, but the activation is only good for 90 days.
I've a funny question for you. Why don't you download and install a normal Windows 8 Enterprise version? If you do this then you won't have to hack your funny evaluation version to a full enterprise version. After you have hacked your evaluation to a full and normal version the steps to aktivate your now frankenhacked OS is the same. The evaluation version you are downloading is for EVALUATION only and not ment to be aktivated and used in a productive maner! If you want to ride a motorcycle you don't buy first a moped and then pimp it to the point it would be consindered as a motorcycle. Do yourselve a favour and download (not available for free on a MS site ) a iso of a full Enterprise version and actiavate it with a methode of your linking. You even find here on this forum very usefull infos about activating if you will search for it not to hard.
I tried activating it with kj activator and now when I put my cursor to the right nothing appears. I also tried the recommended activator and it still says 90 days. What do I do?

What is it that makes you so serious about all that stuff? Why not simply download a clean 8Pro or 8Enterprise full version and after that activate it with MTK or heldi's tool or some of the other KMS activation methods around here? A keygen never will work on any W8 system. Better leave that dead end street asap and follow the main stream as here on MDL

Every question you ask is covered in many threads here, i suggest you read. To bypass entering a key prior to install, search ei.cfg.
Which version has more features though pro or enterprise? So windows 8 enterprise retail edition / rtm doesn't need to have a key put in before the installation is done.
